Instructions
Head
skin color
- R1: sc 6 in magic circle (6)
- R2: *inc* × 6 (12)
- R3: *sc, inc* × 6 (18)
- R4: *sc 2, inc* × 6 (24)
- R5: *sc 3, inc* × 6 (30)
- R6: *sc 4, inc* × 6 (36)
- R7: *sc 5, inc* × 6 (42)
- R8–15: sc for entire row (42)
- Add the face and hair — see the Adding the Face section below.
- R16: *sc 5, dec* × 6 (36)
- R17: *sc 4, dec* × 6 (30)
- R18: *sc 3, dec* × 6 (24)
- R19: *sc 2, dec* × 6 (18)
- Start stuffing. Continue stuffing as you finish the final rows.
- R20: *sc, dec* × 6 (12)
- R21: *dec* × 6 (6)
- Bind off. If the remaining hole is still too large, sew it shut with the tail. This part of the head will be hidden by the hood so it doesn't have to be perfect.
Adding the Face
- Eyes: place the safety eyes between rows 11 and 12, with 5 stitches between them.
- Eyebrows: use the hair yarn to stitch eyebrows above the eyes.
- Mouth: use embroidery floss or thin yarn to stitch a mouth.
- Hair: cut pieces of hair yarn double the length you want the finished hair to be. Attach using a latch hook stitch (the hair line will be under the hood, so any method works). Consider leaving the hair uncut until the hood is on so you can judge the length.
- Things may not look great at this point — they will improve once the hood is on.

Hood
bunny color
- R1: sc 6 in magic circle (6)
- R2: *inc* × 6 (12)
- R3: *sc, inc* × 6 (18)
- R4: *sc 2, inc* × 6 (24)

- R8: *sc 6, inc* × 6 (48)
- R9–19: sc for entire row (48)
- You can place the head inside the hood now and finish the remaining rows with it in place, or smoosh the head in once the hood is done.
- R20: *sc 6, dec* × 6 (42)
- R21: *sc 5, dec* × 6 (36)
- R22: sc for entire row (36)
- Bind off. Tuck tail into hood.
Legs and Body
bunny color
- Leg
- R1: sc 6 in magic circle (6)
- R2: *inc* × 6 (12)
- R3–5: sc for entire row (12)
- Bind off the first leg. Make a second leg without binding off.
- Joining the legs: place the two legs close together with the last stitches of each leg facing each other. Single crochet into the first leg to start the body. Stitch around both legs — 12 sc per leg — in a clockwise direction. This is row 8. There will likely be a small open spot in the center; sew it closed before you begin stuffing.
- Body
- R8: sc for entire row (24)
- R9: *sc 2, inc* × 8 (32)
- R10–13: sc for entire row (32)
- R14: *sc 2, dec* × 8 (24)
- R15: sc for entire row (24)
- R16: *sc 4, dec* × 4 (20)
- R17: sc 6, dec, sc 7, dec, sc 3 (18)
- Bind off. Leave a long tail for sewing the body to the hood. Stuff the body.

Arm (make two)
bunny color
- R1: sc 5 in magic circle (5)
- R2–7: sc for entire row (5)
- R8: sc closed — 2 or 3 stitches
- Bind off. Leave a long tail for sewing the arm to the body.
Ear (make two)
bunny color
- R1: sc 6 in magic circle (6)
- R2: *inc* × 6 (12)
- R3–11: sc for entire row (12)
- Bind off. Leave a long tail for sewing the ear to the hood.
Tail
tail color
- R1: sc 6 in magic circle (6)
- R2: *sc, inc* × 3 (9)
- R3: *sc, dec* × 3 (6)
- Bind off. Leave a long tail for sewing the tail to the body.
Assembly
- Sew the tail to the back of the body. Pull the yarn ends through the stuffing and up through the neck, then tie a knot to secure.
- Sew the arms to the sides of the body, about one row below the top of the body.
- Sew the ears to the top of the hood.
- Sew the body to the hood. If the hood is a little loose, also sew the body into the head so it doesn't look disconnected. You can stitch a few rows at the bottom of the hood and head together before attaching the body.
- Optional braid: braid a few strands of yarn and tie with a bow. Pull the top end through a hole in the hood and tie the ends to secure.

Et voilà!
